Position: Account Service Representative – Including but not limited to : Black Diamond Equipment, Madshus, Atlas

Territory Responsibilities: East-Kootenays (Columbia Valley)– Alberta – Prairies (SK, MB)

HENRY SPORTS GROUP represents some of the most coveted brands in the Climb, Outdoor & Ski industry since 1994. We are looking for a motivated individual that is passionate about these Sports and the retail partners that support them. The right person is looking to make a career in the outdoor sporting industry that aligns with their life and values. The job requirements are demanding, yet very rewarding. To be successful in this role, you should be a team player, customer centric, detail oriented and have excellent communication skills. The right individual must be highly motivated to meet sales and account service goals and be prepared to work long days during the booking seasons to meet deadlines!


  • Present, promote and sell the agency product lines to territory dealers
  • Collaborate with other HSG reps to achieve goals
  • Provide best-in-class level of service to our retail partners
  • Prepare a sales plan for each brand in the territory
  • Educate retail sales staff on the agency’s brands
  • Provide our retail partners with the tools they need to successfully sell our brands through PK’s, brand activation (digitally and through events) and PRO Deals.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within set schedule
  • Generate new business leads
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Support Agency with showroom duties, tradeshows and sample sale events
  • Support Agency with promotional events (demos, clinics, retail sales events)
  • Report weekly on regional sales goals, targets and results


  • Based in the Calgary/Canmore area
  • A Team Player and great listener. The right candidate will roll up their sleeves and help out with anything that needs to be done
  • Flexible and be able to go with the flow in a fast-paced industry
  • Retail & sales experience in the Climb, outdoor, and ski industry
  • Passionate about the outdoors and promoting active lifestyles
  • Self-motivated, independent, highly organized and disciplined
  • A great sense of humour and ability to contribute to the team culture.
  • Excellent communication, time management, business acumen, presentation and negotiating skills
  • Professional email etiquette and strong writing skills required
  • Strong digital skills (B2B platforms, Office, Excel, social media, Google Suite, etc.)
  • Ability to manage your own schedule, work long hours (including some weekends & evenings) and meet deadlines while working remotely or in the office.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle

  • This is a sub rep contract Position. A monthly draw against earned commission is provided based on annual sales history and targets. Actual compensation numbers are disclosed to those candidates who get an interview
