The Alberta Sports Rep Association (ASRA) is a non-profit association unifying agents and representatives in the general sporting goods industry throughout Alberta and Western Canada.
To support our community, we host three buyer markets each year (Winter, Summer, and Fall Shows). These high-profile events give members an exclusive platform to exhibit and sell their products directly to retailers.
Please note that membership is strictly required to exhibit at our shows, and the Alberta Sports Rep Show is only open to agents residing in Western Canada.
Membership Ownership & Rules
- Individual-Only Memberships: Memberships are granted solely to individual agents—not to agencies, brands, or companies.
- Non-Transferable: Because memberships belong to the individual, they cannot be transferred to other employees or colleagues.
- Tied to the Agent: If an agent leaves an agency, the ASRA membership stays with the agent, not the company.
How to Become an ASRA Member
Apply Online
Simply complete our online application form. Once approved, we will email you instructions on how to pay your fees.
Membership Fees
All new members pay a one-time initiation fee plus annual dues. After your first year, you only pay the annual dues.
- Initiation Fee: $150.00 (One-time)
- Annual Dues: $225.00 (Per year)
Note: All fees are subject to applicable taxes. ASRA does not charge a lapsed membership or reinstatement fee.
Once your application and payment are processed, you will receive an invitation to access your member portal, where you can create your agency profile and register for upcoming shows.

Membership Renewal Policy
Annual membership renewals are due October 1st.
- December 31st (Account Paused): If you do not renew by December 31st, your account and system access will be temporarily paused until your renewal is completed.
About the Member Directory
The Online Member Directory and Show Directory are powerful tools showcasing our attending agents. Both platforms provide retailers with direct contact info and a comprehensive list of your represented brands. Retailers can easily search our active agent database on the website by agent name, location, or lines carried.
